The hot water source of Parco Termale del Garda was accidentally discovered in 1989 and originates from two sources at 160- and 200-meters depth, which also irrigate the 13 hectares of land.
Before discovering the hot water sources, this park was already known in the region for being a park with a wide variety of plants, flowers and (ancient) trees.
This park is characterized by its low mineral content water with a high temperature and a low level of fixed residue. These factors are able to give a sense of lightness to those swimming in the lake.
In addition, it has been scientifically proven that its pH of 7.8 provides anti-inflammatory and rejuvenating effects.
Inside this park you will find the two thermal lakes and the magnificent Villa dei Cedri.
The main lake of around 5000 square meters has a temperature of around 34 degrees. Inside this lake there are two tubs with a temperature that exceeds 38 degrees.
Near the main lake you will find the small lake which, on the other hand, has a lower temperature, along with ancient marble basins, filled with cold water and ice.
